What is EMFACE®?
EMFACE® is the first and only needle-free technology that uses synchronised radiofrequency (RF) and High-Intensity Facial Electromagnetic Stimulation (HIFES™) at the same time to target facial skin, muscle and connective tissue. The synchronised RF gently heats the dermis to remodel and smooth the skin, while HIFES™ selectively contracts the facial muscles to restore and elevate the supporting tissue. The result is a smoother, more lifted appearance achieved with no needles, no bruising and no downtime.
Treatment is delivered through patented hands-free applicators that rest on the face, so there is nothing to inject and nothing to recover from. A typical course is a short series of short sessions, with results felt early and continuing to develop as the skin and muscle respond over the following weeks. Because EMFACE® works the muscle as well as the skin, it is best thought of as a treatment for tone and a subtle lift rather than a dramatic, surgery-level change.

What happens at your consultation
A consultation is recommended before EMFACE®. During your initial consultation with Dr Nina and her team you will have a clinical assessment and your suitability for treatment reviewed. You will be talked through the procedure in detail — what to expect during and after — and given the opportunity to ask questions.
The consultation covers your medical history, a facial-anatomy assessment, your suitability and any contraindications, realistic expected outcomes, alternatives if EMFACE® is not ideal, aftercare, and confirmation of your individual plan and price.

What to expect afterwards
EMFACE® involves no downtime. Because it is needle-free and non-invasive, most patients return to normal activities straight away, with no bruising and no recovery period. You receive aftercare guidance tailored to your treatment.

Possible risks & side effects
EMFACE® is a non-invasive, needle-free treatment and is generally well tolerated. Any sensations during treatment (warmth and muscle contraction) settle quickly, and there is typically no bruising or downtime. As with any medical aesthetic procedure, suitability is assessed first and less common effects are discussed individually at consultation.
Careful patient selection and an experienced practitioner are important for a safe, sensible result. If anything is unexpected after treatment, you can contact the clinic for advice.
