For the best results, you should ensure some simple aftercare steps are taken, including using sun protection and avoiding any heat or irritants on the treated skin for 48-72 hours after your procedure. (We advise not working out 48 hours post-treatment.)

What happens during a BBL® HEROic™ treatment?
A clear gel is applied to the treatment area to help the skin absorb the light energy. You can expect minimal to no discomfort as Dr Nina, or a member of her highly trained team, gently glides the handpiece across your skin.
The pulsed light works in two ways: first, it targets visible pigmentation and vascular concerns, breaking them down so the body can naturally clear them. At the same time, controlled thermal energy stimulates collagen within the deeper layers of the skin, supporting smoother texture, refined tone and a more youthful radiance over time.

What skin concerns can BBL® HEROic™ address?

How long is a BBL® HEROic™treatment?
The treatment typically takes 20-30 minutes depending on the size and areas being treated.
Is BBL® HEROic™painful?
A treatment with BBL® HEROic™ is generally well-tolerated by most patients. It is commonly described as feeling like a quick snap on the skin, with the sensation fading swiftly as the handheld device pulses over the skin. Thanks to BBL® HEROic™CoolComfort™ technology, which cools the epidermis during the procedure, topical anesthesia is not necessary. After the treatment, it is normal for the skin to feel warm for about 30 to 60 minutes.
What results can I expect after a BBL® HEROic™ treatment?
A week or two after your first BBL® HEROic™ treatment, your skin will appear more even, youthful, glowing, and smooth. Visible results can be seen in just 1 to 2 treatments, while optimal results are generally seen after completing a series of treatments spaced a few weeks apart. Your skin will continue to improve in the weeks and months following your BBL HEROic sessions.
How many BBL® HEROic™ treatments do I need?
Dr Nina and her team will work with you to create a customised treatment plan that addresses your specific skin revitalisation needs. Typically, a series of 3 treatments, spaced approximately three weeks apart, is recommended. Once you have reached your goals, periodic maintenance treatments will help keep your skin healthy and glowing.
Can I combine BBL® HEROic™ with any other treatments?
During your consultation, Dr Nina will assess your skin and advise whether treatment layering or combination therapy is appropriate for your skin goals.
