Publication: The Times, Style. Published: 5 October 2026. Feature: I tried Xerf, the new skin-firming tweakment. Here's what I thought, by Sarah Jossel.
The Times beauty columnist Sarah Jossel came to Facial Sculpting in Kensington to try XERF, the needle free radiofrequency treatment from South Korea, and wrote up the experience for Style. Her practitioner for the session was Grace, who talked her through what the device is doing while it works.
The mechanism she describes is the one we explain in clinic: tiny controlled contractions deep within the skin that prompt the skin to build collagen, so the tightening continues over the weeks after the appointment rather than ending with it. She was among the first in the UK to try the treatment, which is the position Facial Sculpting has held since bringing the device in.
What the treatment involves, who it suits and what a course looks like are set out on the XERF page. It is often considered alongside the other energy based options for firmness, which the guides to sagging skin and skin quality and radiance explain. Suitability is settled at the consultation, and current costs are on the prices page.
