"I am so thrilled with the results from my recent procedures with Dr. Nina. Initially I was prescribed a bespoke skin care plan using medical grade products from which I began to see immediate results. On Dr Nina’s advice I then returned for Botox, Profhilo and Endolift. She has such a wonderful Calm, friendly and reassuring nature that makes you feel completely at ease. The procedures were painless which is a definite credit to her skill and expertise. The results have been amazing..... I love the even texture and glow my (Menopausal) skin now has. My saggy jawline has disappeared leaving a firmer, leaner profile. Just wonderful... I can’t recommend Dr Nina and her Team highly enough."

The treatment
What is PRX-T33 Peel?
PRX-T33 is a no-needle bio-revitalising peel — often described as a “peel without peeling”. It uses a patented blend of TCA (trichloroacetic acid), low-concentration hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid that is massaged into the skin to stimulate the deeper layers and encourage renewal, while the hydrogen peroxide buffers the acid so the surface is not shed in visible flakes. The result is brighter, fresher, firmer-looking skin with no needles and no downtime.
Because there is no visible peeling, PRX-T33 suits busy people and a wide range of skin types, and can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands. It is well suited to dullness, early fine lines, the look of scarring (including acne scarring), uneven tone and crepey or slightly lax-looking skin. We typically recommend a course of 4–6 sessions, 2–3 weeks apart, followed by maintenance every few weeks to months — many people see a brighter complexion after the very first session, with firming and texture developing over the course.
PRX-T33 is one of several skin-quality treatments — see our skin health treatments for how it compares with options such as AlumierMD peels or SkinPen microneedling, and the honest limitations below for where another route may suit you better.

The process
How PRX-T33 Peel works, step by step
- Consultation & skin assessmentDr Nina or the team assess your skin, concerns, medical history and goals, and confirm whether PRX-T33 is suitable or whether another option is more effective.
- Cleanse & prepThe skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepared so the peel can be worked in evenly.
- PRX-T33 massaged inThe TCA, hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid solution is massaged into the skin in layers; you may feel mild warmth or tingling that settles quickly.
- Soothe & protectThe skin is soothed, hydrated and protected, and broad-spectrum SPF is applied.
- Aftercare & your courseYou receive aftercare and a home-care routine, and any further sessions in your course are planned, usually 2–3 weeks apart.
“A less-is-more philosophy: PRX-T33 only when it genuinely suits your skin — for brighter, firmer skin without the downtime of a traditional peel.”
The Facial Sculpting approach · Dr Nina BalBefore treatment
What happens at your consultation
A consultation and skin assessment are recommended before PRX-T33. During your appointment with Dr Nina and her team your skin is assessed, your medical history reviewed and your suitability confirmed. You will be talked through the treatment in detail — what to expect during and after — and given the opportunity to ask questions.
The consultation covers your skin type and concerns, any contraindications, realistic expected outcomes, how a course and home care work together, sun-protection and aftercare, and confirmation of your individual plan and price.
Results & recovery
What to expect afterwards
PRX-T33 involves no downtime for most people, because it does not cause the visible exfoliation of a traditional peel. Skin may look a little pink immediately afterwards and feel slightly tight or hydrated, and some people notice light flaking over the following days. Because of this, if you are treating before an event we usually suggest having the peel about a week beforehand. Daily SPF is essential afterwards.
Results & longevity: many people see a brighter complexion after the very first session, with firmness and texture improving over a course as the skin is stimulated. Results are not permanent — they are best maintained with good skincare, sun protection and occasional maintenance sessions. Outcomes vary with skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.
Typical results timeline
Skin can look fresher and slightly pink, with a tighter, hydrated feel; most return to normal straight away.
Occasional light flaking can occur in some people; keep skin hydrated and protected.
A brighter, smoother, more refreshed complexion is typically visible.
Firmness and texture continue to improve session by session, supported by home care.
Safety
Possible risks & side effects
PRX-T33 is generally very well tolerated, but as with any skin treatment there are some possible effects: temporary redness, tightness, dryness or occasional light flaking in the days afterwards. Less commonly, treatment can cause temporary changes in pigmentation, particularly without diligent sun protection, which is why suitability and aftercare are discussed in full at consultation.
Careful skin assessment, correct technique and an experienced practitioner are important for a safe, sensible result. If anything is unexpected after treatment, you can contact the clinic for advice.
Honest limitations
What PRX-T33 Peel cannot do
- It improves skin quality — it does not lift, tighten or change facial structure.
- It cannot remove deep static wrinkles or replace injectables, laser or surgery.
- A single session helps, but firming and texture build best over a course.
- Results are not permanent and rely on ongoing skincare and sun protection.

Your questions
PRX-T33 Peel FAQs
What is a PRX-T33 peel?
PRX-T33 is a no-needle bio-revitalising peel that uses a patented blend of TCA (trichloroacetic acid), hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid to stimulate the deeper layers of the skin without causing the visible flaking of a traditional peel. It is sometimes called a “peel without peeling” and is designed to brighten, hydrate and firm the skin.
How does PRX-T33 work without peeling?
The TCA stimulates the skin, while the low-concentration hydrogen peroxide buffers the acid so the surface is not shed in visible flakes. The solution is massaged into the skin in layers, encouraging renewal and a firmer, brighter look from within rather than by removing the surface. This is why it has little to no downtime.
How much does PRX-T33 cost in London?
PRX-T33 at Facial Sculpting is from £450 per session. It is usually best as a course of 4–6 sessions spaced 2–3 weeks apart, with maintenance afterwards. Your exact plan and price are confirmed after a skin assessment.
Is there any downtime after PRX-T33?
There is no downtime for most people, because PRX-T33 does not cause visible exfoliation. Skin may look slightly pink and feel a little tight or hydrated immediately afterwards, and some people notice light flaking over the following days. If you are treating before an event, we usually suggest having it about a week beforehand.
How many sessions of PRX-T33 will I need?
We typically recommend a course of 4–6 sessions, spaced around 2–3 weeks apart, followed by maintenance every few weeks to months depending on your skin. Many people see a brighter complexion after the first session, with firming and texture improving over the course.
What does PRX-T33 help with?
PRX-T33 can help with a dull complexion, early fine lines, the look of scarring (including acne scarring), uneven tone and mild pigmentation, and crepey or slightly lax-looking skin. It improves skin quality rather than changing facial structure, and can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
Is PRX-T33 suitable for all skin types?
PRX-T33 is suitable for most skin types and, because it does not cause visible peeling, it is often a good option where a traditional peel feels too aggressive. As with any acid-based treatment, suitability in deeper skin tones and sensitive skin is assessed first, and some active skin conditions may mean treatment is delayed or another option is recommended.
Does PRX-T33 hurt?
PRX-T33 is generally comfortable and is needle-free. You may feel mild warmth, tingling or a slight stinging as the solution is massaged in, and this settles quickly. No anaesthetic is needed because it is applied topically.
How is PRX-T33 different from a normal chemical peel?
A traditional chemical peel exfoliates the surface, so you often see flaking and need some downtime. PRX-T33 stimulates the deeper layers while buffering the surface, so it revitalises the skin without visible peeling and with little to no downtime. For some concerns a conventional peel such as an AlumierMD peel may still be more appropriate — Dr Nina will advise.
How soon will I see results and how long do they last?
Many people notice a brighter, fresher complexion after the very first session, with firmness and texture improving over a course as the skin is stimulated. Results can last for several months and are best maintained with good skincare, sun protection and occasional maintenance sessions. Individual results vary.
Can PRX-T33 help with acne scarring?
PRX-T33 can help soften the look of scarring, including acne scarring, by stimulating skin renewal over a course. For more textured or deeper scarring, it is often combined with, or compared against, microneedling such as SkinPen. Dr Nina will assess your skin and advise the most effective approach.
Can PRX-T33 be combined with other treatments?
Yes. PRX-T33 is often planned alongside microneedling such as SkinPen for texture and scarring, or with skin boosters like Profhilo for deeper hydration and firmness. The team will advise what is sensible to combine and the right order, so treatments support rather than overload your skin.
What aftercare does PRX-T33 need?
Keep the skin hydrated and protected, avoid picking any flaking, and pause strong actives such as retinoids and acids until your skin has settled. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is essential, as skin is more sensitive to sunlight after treatment. You will be given tailored aftercare and home-care advice to protect your results.
Is a consultation required before PRX-T33?
A consultation and skin assessment are recommended to check your skin and concerns, review your medical history, confirm whether PRX-T33 is suitable (or whether another option is better), and agree your plan and price. This helps ensure a safe, sensible result, especially for sensitive skin and deeper skin tones.
