No. Although it is made from hyaluronic acid like many fillers, Profhilo® is not cross-linked, so it does not stay in one place to add volume or fill a line. Instead it spreads under the skin to hydrate and stimulate collagen and elastin, improving skin quality and firmness. Profhilo® uses stabilised hyaluronic acid that is free of chemical cross-linking agents. Profhilo® may not be appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active infection or skin condition in the treatment area, with a known allergy to hyaluronic acid or product ingredients, or with certain medical conditions. Profhilo® uses a well-established, stabilised hyaluronic acid and is administered by trained practitioners. As with any injectable, careful patient selection, good technique and practitioner experience are central to safety. Yes. Profhilo® is often planned alongside other treatments — for example polynucleotides for skin quality, or energy-based treatments such as Endolift® or EMFACE® for firmness and lift — as part of a wider plan. Dr Nina will advise on what is appropriate and safe to combine, and the right order.

Profhilo® at Facial Sculpting is from £640 per area. As a course of two sessions is usually recommended, the total depends on the areas treated and your individual plan, which is confirmed at consultation.
