LIPS ENHANCEMENT Can I have my lips enhanced VERY subtly, only hydrating them and correcting the asymmetry ? The answer is YES absolutely . You don’t necessarily have to have more volume , you can only have the lips corrected , symmetrical and even , the most hydrated version of them ! In this case I injected 0.5 ml of Restylane Defyne @restylaneusa @restylane . Results will last up to 6-12 months . ...

EATING, FLUIDS AND INJECTIONS An other VERY common question I get very often is: Can I have injectables straight after I come to the gym on a empty stomach ? Or, can I have the first appointment in the morning so I go to eat something after it ? The answers to both questions are yes IF you make sure you have eaten at least something before coming to see me and drunk plenty of fluids (not alcohol lol) before the injections , otherwise there is a high risk of fainting . ANY injections can make you feel light headed , especially if they are in the face and if you are not used to it and slightly apprehensive about it (which is TOTALLY normal ). This is even more important to follow if you suffer from low blood pressure , as you might have a vagus nerve reaction (fainting) easier . A good tip is to have a nice cup of coffee or tea with sugar before seeing me , and please do let me know as soon as you feel light headed (if you do so). If not don’t worry we are used to it and we recognise the signs quickly and lay you down offering you some sugar! ...

SMILE How important is to have a nice smile ? Is it enough to only look after your skin/ face ? The answer is ... NO! A nice smile and good teeth are ESSENTIAL and NOT negotiable especially if you are already looking after your face . I will never forget my mum saying to me that it doesn’t matter how nice my hair looks or what I wear , if I don’t have a nice smile ! Perhaps it got stuck with me SO much that I became a dentist ! There is NOTHING better than feeling confident when you smile , not having to put your hands on your mouth being embarrassed about it . Is it luck? NO!! Talking from experience I have been trough YEARS of braces and whitening and composite bonding before achieving it , so ANYONE else can as well! ...

One for us ladies ... Can my PERIOD affect the injectables ? The answer is YES!! If you are on your period or just before , you will definitely be more sensitive to the needles (which means feeling more pain) and very likely you will be bleeding more so more chances of bruising and swelling . This won’t affect the final results BUT if you can plan it and avoid that week is better ! ...
